Here is something I knocked up while looking at 3D text effects that are possible using Illustrator and Photoshop. Downloaded the texture from Smashing Magazine.

Found a site where you can make images using your own words, or by your delicious username. Makes a nice bit of typography! You can see the full image here.

New website!

I have finally managed to finish redesigning and rebuilding my website. Upgraded myself from the static HTML and CSS site to one driven by WordPress. Originally I had planned to build my own template from scratch, but thought “baby steps first…” so looked for a pre-built one, with the intention of modifying it to look and work the way I wanted it to. Sorry for links and images not working on previous posts. Currently in the process of changing servers, and redesigning the main site. Going to get my hands dirty and create a WordPress template. So as soon as it is all sorted I will let you know.

Mayo Maker site re-design

Mayomaker

The original Mayo Maker site that I designed a back in 2006, is now going through a redesign. Under construction is live at the moment, with links to a flash gallery which I built using the component Slide Show Pro. The main site will probably be built in Flash as this suits the client better.

Wanted!

Wanted Poster

An internal email was wanted to be sent out to the sales team. The chairman was looking for a ‘Wanted’ poster in a western style design. Always fun using photoshop to make something like this from scratch.
